One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





High Blue could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Flickering Whirlwind quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Insane Bouquet sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Flickering Whirlwind galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.




Running Gold looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Running Gold were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Running Gold galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




High Blue won the race after a spectacular finish.
