One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Moonlight Spring tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Ultra Pascal that came steaming ahead. Going Fast suddenly started to galop. Charles Degiorgio had to struggle to get Going Fast to tror again and succeded after 50 m.




Desolate Mind quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Desolate Mind was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Moonlight Spring showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Ultra Pascal galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Desolate Mind followed by Solid Stereo and Capo Di Tutti Capi. Lane two Nothing Special followed by Soldier Dynamite and Galaxyland Dynamo.



Desolate Mind kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Nothing Special, 2 Solid Stereo, 3 Desolate Mind.
