The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Vaggeryd this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Daffodill was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Portable Bomb saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Daffodill looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Portable Bomb started to gallop after 1500m and Håkan Eriksson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Daffodill sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Portable Bomb galop. Portable Bomb lost 40 m.




Daffodill didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
