One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Rolling Wave was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

Feuerkraft Larockma saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Comrade Nicolai sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Comrade Nicolai followed by Fahrenheit Larockma and Emporio Hoof. Lane two Rodeo Clown Hoof followed by Frank The Tank and Give Me Strength.

Rodeo Clown Hoof was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Comrade Nicolai were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Give Me Strength won the race after a spectacular finish.
