It had been raining for several days at Kalmar but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Frank The Tank sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Happy Rose started to galop and lost 50 m. Absinthe Hoof saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Godere Il Cavalcare showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Happy Rose took the lead after 1000m. Inkas Sioux didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Happy Rose followed by Frank The Tank and Pure Ice. Lane two Bolt Action followed by Absinthe Hoof and Inkas Sioux. Missouri Bushwacker galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Happy Rose kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Micael Melander tried a little too much on the homestretch and Goodtimer started to galopp and lost 20 m. Bolt Action won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
