One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sharp As Sugar took the lead after a very quick start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Sharp As Sugar clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Bonnie looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Coughing Lady galoped for 10 m. Bonnie kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Brillant Diamant never caught up with Bonnie who won. Sharp As Sugar came third.
