The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Eskilstuna this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Mad Maid sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Mike Lachance wanted a little to much in the start and Rosa Canina galoped for 50 m.

Melonball Cherry quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Rosa Canina took the lead rather easily. Ababysdestiny galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.

Desolate Forest looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Mad Maid speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Desolate Forest won the race after a spectacular finish.
