One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Behage took the lead after a very quick start. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 10 m. Shining Light was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified. When the startcar left the field Comfortable Runner started to galop and lost 40 m.

Delaney saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Virtual Canadian sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Behage sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Behage didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
