One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Cookie Monster could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Cookie Monster who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Blackbird sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Blackbird followed by Avulla Halu and Mettre En Veilleuse. Lane two Cookie Monster followed by Fantastic Svensson and Votre Richesse.



Blackbird kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Avulla Halu galop. Avulla Halu lost 50 m.




Blackbird didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
