The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ticking Red sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Madame Kiwi started to galop and lost 10 m.




Madame Kiwi quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Light Star sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Light Star today. It continued in the lead.



Light Star kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Ticking Red never caught up with Light Star who won. Madame Kiwi came third.
