The weather had been good all week and Kalmar was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Bold Garden tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Pinot Rosé that came steaming ahead.

Bold Garden quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. driver couldn't keep Fras to trotting so they were disqualified. Coughing Feeling galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Payback sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Payback followed by Taboca Gogo and Bold Garden. Lane two Behind The Wall followed by Pinot Rosé and Bad Boy Toker.

Payback sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Payback were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Taboca Gogo won the race after a spectacular finish.
