It had been raining for several days at Leangen but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.

Important Key found a gap and took the lead. Djevelen Sprit followed before Englen Fra Himmelen. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 20 m. Hans Petter Tholfsen wanted a little to much in the start and Sterk Karakter galoped for 40 m. Atle Solhus wanted a little to much in the start and Floating Trap galoped for 50 m.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 50 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m. Helhet Gass was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Important Key was still in the lead after 1500m.

Djevelen Sprit was first on the homestretch followed by Important Key and Englen Fra Himmelen.

Djevelen Sprit didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
