The sun was shining on Mariehamn and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Goofy Madness. Superiore Stato ended up behind the leader. Sunset Moonshine got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Stopping Wardrobe was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

Dublin Disco Dancer saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Addicted To Roses who started to galop and lost 20 m.

Venus Vibes took the lead after 1000m. Happy Diamond didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Stopping Wardrobe suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.

Venus Vibes was still in the lead after 1500m.

Venus Vibes sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Addicted To Roses won the race after a spectacular finish.
