Only a humble breeze blew over Mariehamn this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Appletini Cherry could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Ziv De Suite saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Rootbeer Ross started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Ziv De Suite today. It continued in the lead. Königin Über Weltall showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Gift From Heaven gallopped for 10 m.




Ziv De Suite was still in the lead after 2000m.



Appletini Cherry suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Pamela galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.




Ziv De Suite made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Rugged Night.
