The weather had been good all week and Drammen was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dark Steve could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Eirik Høitomt wanted a little to much in the start and Toro Di Palermo galoped for 30 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Sol Verde sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Jet Fortune to trotting so they were disqualified.




Sol Verde was still in the lead after 1500m.



Toro Di Palermo was first on the homestretch followed by Sol Verde and Dark Steve.






Dark Steve sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
