Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Rättvik track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dreaming Pirate found a gap and took the lead. Oyonnax followed before Focused Crusher. Bengt-Erik Olsson wanted a little to much in the start and Calex Culux galoped for 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Chilly Millie, Calex Culux, Focused Crusher, Travelling Autumn, Jumping Mountain, Dreaming Pirate, Lou Reed, Oyonnax. Intelligent Platinum galloped way to long and was disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Travelling Autumn took the lead rather easily.




Lou Reed accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Travelling Autumn gallopped for 20 m.



Lou Reed looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Lou Reed. Focused Crusher came in second. Coulé became third.
