The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Vaasa today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Stepping Lemonade. Climbing Paradigm ended up behind the leader. Le Monde got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Breh, Calming Strategy, Le Monde, Coughing Ruby, Mr Moment, Climbing Paradigm, Stepping Lemonade, Black Illusion. A bird flew just in front of Killalot Red Planet who started to galop and lost 30 m.

Coughing Ruby looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Le Monde couldn't come out from behind the leader, Breh.

Le Monde accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Killalot Red Planet started to gallop after 1500m and Veli-Erkki Paavola had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Breh speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Mauri Jaara tried a little too much on the homestretch and Coughing Ruby started to galopp and lost 50 m.

Mr Moment won the race after a spectacular finish.
