One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Au Velo took the lead after a very quick start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 20 m. The Daydreamer started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Au Velo was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.




Proficient Connoisseur looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Proficient Connoisseur sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Au Velo was first on the homestretch followed by Proficient Connoisseur and Chemical Balanced.






Winner of todays race was Au Velo. Proficient Connoisseur came in second. Chemical Balanced became third.
