Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Umåker track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Screaming Sniper could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Åke Svanstedt wanted a little to much in the start and Mortirolo galoped for 40 m.




Mortirolo quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Mortirolo followed by Stepping Red and Get It All. Lane two Screaming Sniper followed by Ticking Lilac and Alcohol Free.



Mortirolo were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Mortirolo didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
