One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Almighty sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Sad Action quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Bananfluen who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Helpful Striker sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Bananfluen suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Helpful Striker followed by Awkward Turtle and Bananfluen. Lane two Almighty followed by Sad Action and Honourable Mountain.




Helpful Striker was still in the lead after 2000m.



Awkward Turtle galloped way to long and was disqualified. Helpful Striker looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Almighty never caught up with Helpful Striker who won. Sad Action came third.
