One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





The Question was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. driver couldn't keep Supersensitive to trotting so they were disqualified.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Hermes King sprinted to the front.




The leader got disturbed by something and Curtis took the lead rather easily. Hermes King suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Curtis followed by Slacker Jack and Hermes King. Lane two The Question followed by Excellent Boy and Thrillville Quicker.



The Question was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Curtis kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Slacker Jack won the race after a spectacular finish.
