One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Celina Safir could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Just Like Me, Use As Is, Holding Back, Holy Cookie, Zoals Maandag, Celina Safir, Interno Informazione, Jaja. Backslash started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Holding Back took the lead rather easily.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Holding Back today. It continued in the lead.



Holding Back kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Jan Norberg tried a little too much on the homestretch and Just Like Me started to galopp and lost 10 m.




Holding Back didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
