One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Powerful Work could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. driver couldn't keep Juin Juillet to trotting so they were disqualified. Empty Space suddenly started to galop. Vidar Hop had to struggle to get Empty Space to tror again and succeded after 50 m.

General Stone quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Powerful Work was disturbed and galoped 40 m. A bird flew just in front of Juin Juillet who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Empty Space looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Polished Band couldn't come out from behind the leader, General Stone.

Empty Space looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

New York Yankee put some pressure on the leader and could take over.

New York Yankee looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Winner of todays race was New York Yankee. Powerful Work came in second. Empty Space became third.
