Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Romme track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sahara was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Sergeant Fist quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Sergeant Fist was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Sahara galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m. Robin Hood was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Perfect Giggle accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Sergeant Fist galloped for 10 m.




Perfect Giggle was still in the lead after 2000m.



Cowboy Wannabe was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Perfect Giggle kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Perfect Giggle didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
