The weather had been good all week and Kurtakko was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Brave Summer. Norske Pige ended up behind the leader. Clé De Pologne got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Harri Koivunen wanted a little to much in the start and Clé De Pologne galoped for 40 m. Smiling Pearl was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. Holy Sunshine suddenly started to galop. Jukka-Pekka Kauhanen had to struggle to get Holy Sunshine to tror again and succeded after 20 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Ashippun P. C., Baby Love, Felicia Crown, Smiling Pearl, Holy Sunshine, Clé De Pologne, Fagerviks Stunning Bouguet, Brave Summer.

Felicia Crown sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Norske Pige sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Holy Sunshine galop. Holy Sunshine lost 30 m.

Felicia Crown won the race after a spectacular finish.
