One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

All American Class sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Jorma Kontio wanted a little to much in the start and Honourable Action galoped for 40 m. When the startcar left the field Frasses Trettioförsta started to galop and lost 20 m.

Quasimodo saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

The leader got disturbed by something and Sticky Rose took the lead rather easily. Giant Ace suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.

All American Class saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Quasimodo galloped for 40 m.

All American Class kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

All American Class galoped way to long and was disqualified.

Honourable Action made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Sticky Rose.
