The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Lady Royale. Mareng ended up behind the leader. Madame Martell got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




This is the positions after 500m. Red Devil, Steel Bear, Advanced Energy, Madame Martell, Mareng, Inderligt I Tillid, Lady Royale, Kenobi.




Red Devil clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Nightmist was disturbed and galoped 20 m.



Lady Royale was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Mareng clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.






Mareng didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
