The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.

Saint-Étienne tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Hogan Boy that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Saint-Étienne started to galop and lost 30 m. Glorious Sun suddenly started to galop. John Byström had to struggle to get Glorious Sun to tror again and succeded after 10 m. Hogan Boy was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Solenhac, Café Au Lait, Timerboy, Breh, Raven's Head, Saint-Étienne, Hogan Boy, Kid Cherry.

Hogan Boy took the lead after 1000m. Kid Cherry didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Hogan Boy today. It continued in the lead. Roofies galloped for 30 m.

Timerboy showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Hogan Boy sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Kid Cherry sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
