The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Boden this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Shining Moon sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Millie Onion suddenly started to galop. Roger Nilsson had to struggle to get Millie Onion to tror again and succeded after 20 m. Tricky Top suddenly started to galop. Torbjörn Jansson had to struggle to get Tricky Top to tror again and succeded after 50 m. Mara Lyon showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




This is the positions after 500m. Bold Sunflower, Shining Moon, Millie Onion, Tricky Top, Famous Lilac, Esiintyjä Aikoinaan, Mara Lyon, . driver couldn't keep Esiintyjä Aikoinaan to trotting so they were disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Tricky Top suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Bold Sunflower followed by Famous Lilac and Esiintyjä Aikoinaan. Lane two Shining Moon followed by Tricky Top and Millie Onion.



With only a little left of the race Millie Onion galoped for 10 m. Shining Moon was first on the homestretch followed by Bold Sunflower and Famous Lilac.






Bold Sunflower made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Shining Moon.
