The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Tornio today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Growing Action tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Flat Foot that came steaming ahead. Frozen Star was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

Stratus Cherry quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Stars And Stripes took the lead after 1000m. Frozen Star didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Growing Action suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.

Flying Steel was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Imprezza took the lead after 1000m. Rider Of Apocalypse didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Flying Steel galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Flat Foot, 2 Rider Of Apocalypse, 3 Awesome North One.
