One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Midsummer Lady sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Galette showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




Jolly Top quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Midsummer Lady who started to galop and lost 30 m. Jolly Top was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Jolly Top clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.



Venus Vibes clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.






Midsummer Lady sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
