One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Katjan Tähti was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Saint Darling started to galop and lost 50 m.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Katjan Tähti followed by Why Not Me? and Backstabbing Stardust. Lane two Falling Glittering followed by Powerful Praities and Green.

Katjan Tähti was still in the lead after 2000m.

With only a little left of the race Saint Darling galoped for 50 m. Katjan Tähti sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Powerful Praities galop. Powerful Praities lost 40 m.

Winner of todays race was Katjan Tähti. Falling Glittering came in second. Why Not Me? became third.
