Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Romme track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Apollo could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Wandering Madness, Foo-foo, Apollo, Republicain, Escalope, Starshine Nova, Wiglaf, Massive Attack. Darth Vader started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Republicain took the lead after 1000m. Starshine Nova didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Republicain followed by Wiglaf and Apollo. Lane two Massive Attack followed by Foo-foo and Escalope.



With only a little left of the race Wiglaf galoped for 20 m. With only a little left of the race Wont Lose galoped for 10 m. Massive Attack was first on the homestretch followed by Republicain and Wiglaf.






Massive Attack kept the speed the whole finish and won before Wiglaf and Republicain.
