It had been raining for several days at Solvalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Clever Mountain tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Fighting Night that came steaming ahead. Baby Be Mine galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

This is the positions after 500m. Stopping Peach, Langue Seulement, Cobra Triangle, Frozen Folder, Emotional, Lovestoned, Clever Mountain, Stopping Pirate. Fighting Night was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Langue Seulement took the lead after 1000m. Emotional didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Emotional accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Emotional sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Killer Bob galop. Killer Bob lost 20 m. Baby Be Mine was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.

Emotional didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
