One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Earl Grey sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Roofies started to galop and lost 10 m.




Gil Yotin quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Earl Grey started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Kipling was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Return Me looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sliding Thrasher couldn't come out from behind the leader, Gil Yotin.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Gil Yotin today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Kipling gallopped for 30 m.



Kipling showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Gil Yotin looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Sliding Thrasher won the race after a spectacular finish.
