The weather had been good all week and Momarken was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Fair Witch could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Snakke Opp sprinted to the front.




Le Beau sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Le Beau followed by Giant Fighter and Pineapple Bubblegum. Lane two Fair Witch followed by Independent Red Planet and Bigger And Stronger.




Giant Fighter took the lead.



Fair Witch speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Giant Fighter won. Fair Witch came in second. Pineapple Bubblegum caught third place.
