The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Chocolat took the lead after a very quick start. XPlosion was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




XPlosion was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




XPlosion was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




XPlosion was still in the lead after 1500m.



Bad Light was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. XPlosion kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Bad Light to trotting so they were disqualified.




Chocolat never caught up with XPlosion who won. Strong Tiger came third.
