The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Rättvik this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Holy Cookie. Drogheda ended up behind the leader. Sneaky Cruiser got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Holy Cookie was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




Sneaky Cruiser quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Grasping Pony galloped way to long and was disqualified. Backstage Piccolo was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Drogheda sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Drogheda today. It continued in the lead.



Drogheda kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Backstage Piccolo galop. Backstage Piccolo lost 30 m.




Holy Cookie won. Sneaky Cruiser came in second. Drogheda caught third place.
