The weather had been good all week and Oviken was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Intelligent Work took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Mønlight, Like A Lion, Monza Star, Intelligent Work, Jodie, Big Tiger, Estimer, Fast Missile. Past Bedtime showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Monza Star took the lead after 1000m. Estimer didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Jodie looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Estimer seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



Estimer looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Monza Star galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.




Estimer didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
