One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Old Sword took the lead after a very quick start. Erik Adielsson wanted a little to much in the start and Walking Satellite galoped for 30 m. driver couldn't keep Platinum Pirate to trotting so they were disqualified.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Gouverneur looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sneaking Wind couldn't come out from behind the leader, Old Sword.



Royal Agent galloped way to long and was disqualified. Lieutenant Star looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sneaking Wind couldn't come out from behind the leader, Old Sword.






Old Sword didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
