The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Kannus this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Glenn The Rocker tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Laugh Out Loud that came steaming ahead. Jackies Peaceofheaven was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified. Aki Antti-Roiko wanted a little to much in the start and Scotty Doesn't Know galoped for 50 m.

Elegant Red quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Robothorse took the lead after 1000m. Laugh Out Loud didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Robothorse today. It continued in the lead.

Robothorse kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Scotty Doesn't Know sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
