The sun was shining on Mantorp and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Pinch Of Spices could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Punching Hero was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.

This is the positions after 500m. Flying Force, Pinch Of Spices, Lone Tank, More Than That, Baldin, Candy Cane, Light Buzz, Keen Comet. Flying Force was disturbed and galoped 20 m. A bird flew just in front of First Angel Boy who started to galop and lost 50 m.

Pinch Of Spices looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that More Than That couldn't come out from behind the leader, Flying Force. Baldin was disturbed and galoped 30 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Flying Force followed by Baldin and More Than That. Lane two Pinch Of Spices followed by First Angel Boy and Beautiful Wardrobe.

Flying Force galloped way to long and was disqualified. With only a little left of the race Beautiful Wardrobe galoped for 30 m. With only a little left of the race First Angel Boy galoped for 40 m. Pinch Of Spices suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Light Buzz galop. Light Buzz lost 50 m.

More Than That made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Baldin.
