One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Superiore Stato could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Superiore Stato was in fine shape and held the lead.

Zwisch De Suite sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Run Like The Wind saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Claudette was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Crossing Necklace litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
