One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





On Fire could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Back In Business, Best Fighter, Confident Night, On Fire, Tranceylvania Nights, Mettre En Veilleuse, A Minor Incident, Gloire À Dieu.




On Fire sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one On Fire followed by Back In Business and A Minor Incident. Lane two Confident Night followed by Tranceylvania Nights and Mettre En Veilleuse.



On Fire galloped way to long and was disqualified. Confident Night suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Back In Business made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Confident Night.
