The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Arvika this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Speed Charge sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

Ahimsa Abacoberber looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Speed Charge couldn't come out from behind the leader, Mountain Climber.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Mountain Climber today. It continued in the lead.




Mountain Climber was still in the lead after 2000m.




Mountain Climber seemed to be in good shape this day and continued in the lead.



Mountain Climber kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Strong Pain galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.




Winner of todays race was Mountain Climber. Klemensas Bakaou came in second. Speed Charge became third.
