One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rosa Canina tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Beobachter Larockma that came steaming ahead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. A bird flew just in front of King Empire who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Rosa Canina sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Rosa Canina was still in the lead after 1500m. Beobachter Larockma started to gallop after 1500m and Harald Sandström had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Rosa Canina was still in the lead after 2000m.



Beobachter Larockma was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Ghostly Jewel speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Rosa Canina never caught up with Ghostly Jewel who won. Beobachter Larockma came third.
