The weather had been good all week and Umåker was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Space Magic could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Nocturna saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




High Priority took the lead after 1000m. Flickering Whirlwind didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nocturna accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and On The Beach gallopped for 50 m.



With only a little left of the race On The Beach galoped for 30 m. Nocturna kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

On The Beach was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.




Nocturna kept the speed the whole finish and won before Space Magic and Des Larmes D´Ange.
