The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Rättvik this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Happy Girl. Brave Winter ended up behind the leader. Illa Ledd Volt got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Hans R Strömberg wanted a little to much in the start and Feeling Lucky galoped for 20 m.

Feeling Lucky quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Brave Winter sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Brave Winter followed by Insane Queen and Happy Girl. Lane two Illa Ledd Volt followed by Florentina Bakaou and Holy Peach.

Brave Winter kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
