One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Criminal Bob tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Rolling Wave that came steaming ahead.

Ritorno was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. A bird flew just in front of Lucky Lady who started to galop and lost 50 m.

Lucky Lovebreaker looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Bourque couldn't come out from behind the leader, Rolling Wave. Grasping Winter was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Bourque was still in the lead after 1500m. Grasping Winter galloped for 50 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Milk And Rainbow gallopped for 50 m.

Bourque sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

No-one could catch Criminal Bob today who won before Corn Cob and Bourque.
