The weather had been good all week and Solvalla was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Perfect Fly sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 30 m.




Imagine My Love saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Lone Power started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Basslimit showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Lone Power galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

No-one could catch Imagine My Love today who won before Slow Growing Dream and Il Nuovo Millennio.
